The Collective is a group of Philly-based businesses including B Corps, Sustainable Business Network members, and other individuals and businesses dedicated to their community and the environment.
It's that time again! Join us for our monthly happy hour for Philadelphia businesses doing good on Wednesday, 2/19 at CityCoHo | Philly Nexus (2401 Walnut St.)* between 6-8p. Bring a friend or colleague to open their eyes to the world of conscious business and come meet other people with your outlook for a sustainable world. These happy hours aim to:
- build relationships
- implement cross-pollination of services
- encourage the sharing of tripleB best practices
- recruit new B Corps and SBN members
In spirit of a belated Valentine's Day, we'll be doing speed-networking. It's similar to speed-dating but without the awkwardness (we're all friends here!). So bring some business cards and practice your 1-minute elevator pitch on what you do and the services you can provide your "date"! Breath mints and deodorant can only help you.
In addition, we'd like to introduce a new Collective partner: Instacart.
Instacart delivers groceries from your favorite stores to your door in 1 hour. They are launching in Philadelphia on 2/18 with Whole Foods and will be adding more stores soon. They currently operate in SF, Chicago, Boston, & DC and are excited to bring on-demand groceries to Philly & the Collective. You can read more about them on WIRED, Bloomberg Businessweek, & WSJ.
